KEN-1000x Power Meter communication driver

 

KEN-1000x Power Meter communication driver is the driver to communicate with power meter controller of KD Power Co,. Ltd. in Korea.

 

1. Read Settings

 

<Figure 1> is read setting example of KEN-1000x Power Meter communication driver.

Device part of  <Figure 1> input Com Port(COM1), Baud Rate(9600), Parity Bit(0), Data Bit(8), Stop Bit(1) respectively, according to controller.

 

KEN-1000x Power Meter communication driver read schedule 

Read schedule setting parameters are as follows:

1) Station – 0 ~ 255 station number of KEN-1000x Power Meter.

2) Read command – ALL, STATUS, ANALOG. ( refer <Table 1> ~ <Table 1> )

ALL - read of status and analog data,

STATUS – read of diagnosis and event status,

ANALOG – read of analog data and counter.

3) Read start address –  Don't care.

4) Save start address for Communication Server – Saving start address of Communication Server.

5) Read Size – Fixed to 1. ( ALL – 16,  STATUS – 2,  ANALOG – 14 )

Data saving address and contents of ALL read command use STATUS + ANALOG command.

 

Note) Read data of STATUS command save at WORD memory. Also ANALOG data save at FLOAT memory.

2. Writing settings

KEN-1000x Power Meter communication driver don't support 'writing settings'.

 

3. Connection of communication cable and main power

 Connection of communication cable and main power are as follows.

 

Connection of RS-485 communication cable

Please connect RS485(1) +, RS485(1) - connector of KEN-1000x and T+(Rx+), T-(Rx-) of computer such as <Figure 4>.

Connection of main power

Please connect 110 ~ 220V AC power to L+, N- connector such as <Figure 4>.
